The other person’s answer is wrong.
You use trigonometry to solve this
sin(30)= √3 /x
x= √3/ sin(30)
x= 3.87 (3 s.f.)

Answer:

well the other cathet is 2 square roots of 3. since the angles are 30° and 60° cathecathet is 2 times longer than the known. and to calculate x we use pythagoras teorem. witch leads me to an answer square root of 15
