The radius of a circle is 8 miles. What is the circle's area?

\large\blue\textsf{\textbf{\underline{\underline{Answer and How to solve:-}}}}

Formula for the Area:-

A=πr²

Where

  • A= area
  • π = pi (I'll use 3.14 for pi)
  • r = radius

Substitute the value of r, which is 8:-

A=π(8)²

A=64π

On simplification,

A=64(3.14)

On further simplification,

A=201.1 mi²

Good luck.

Hey ! there

Answer:

  • Area of circle is 8 miles square

Explanation:

In this question we are provided with a circle having radius 8 miles . And we are asked to find the area of circle .

For finding area of circle we need to know that what's the formula used for finding area of circle . So ,

\:\qquad\: \qquad \: \underline{\boxed{ \frak{Area_((Circle)) = \pi r {}^(2) }}}

Where ,

  • π refers to 3.14 or 22/7

  • r refers to radius of circle

Solution : -

\quad \: \dashrightarrow \qquad \: 3.14 * (8) {}^(2)

Squaring 8 ,

\quad \: \dashrightarrow \qquad \:3.14 * 64

Multiplying 3.14 and 64 ,

\quad \: \dashrightarrow \qquad \blue{\underline{\boxed{\frak{ \: 200.96 \: miles {}^(2) }}}} \quad \bigstar

  • Henceforth , area of circle having radius 8 miles is 200.96 miles square .
