The triangle above has an area of x2-x-2 and a
base of x + 1. What is the height of the triangle?​

area of triangle formula = ½ × Base × Height

X² - X - 2 = ½ × ( X + 1) × Height

X² - X - 2 = (0.5X + 0.5)Height

Therefore,

Height = ( X² - X - 2 ) / ( 0.5X + 0.5 )
