Given,

AB: 2y+2x =8.

Let's take the equation in slope intercept form.

2y = -2x +8


y = ( - 2x)/(2) + (8)/(2)


y = - 1x + 4

Comparing the equation with y= mx+c, we get;

Therefore, slope of AB is -1.

Now,

Again, the another equation is,

y + x = 2

y = -x+2

Comparing, the equation with y = mx + c.

Therefore, slope of CD = -1

For parallel lines, m1=m2.

slope of AB (m1) = -1

slope of CD(m2)= -1

As m1= m2 {True}.

Therefore, They are parallel to eachother.
