Divide the total amount of money you have by the cost of one package of blueberries.

If one package of blueberries is $5, and you have $15, divide 15 by 5

15 ÷ 5 = 3

Answer: (pt.1)

You can buy 3 packages of blueberries with $15 dollars.

In a proportional relationship, the ratios of the x and y variables are equivalent.

To find out if this relationship is proportional, take two of the points and convert them to fractions (x over y).

(1, 5) & (3, 15) ⇒
(1)/(5) &
(3)/(15)

Divide the numerators and denominators by each other. If they both equal the same number, the relationship is proportional.

3 ÷ 1 = 3 ,,, 15 ÷ 5 = 3

Answer: (pt. 2)

Yes, the relationship is proportional.

Hope this helped! :)
