y = 3x +8

Explanation:

$(-5 ,-7)=(x_1,y_1) \\m = 3\\$

Plug in values into point-slope form

$y -y_1 =m(x-x_1)\\y - (-7) = 3(x - (-5))\\y +7 =3(x+5)\\y+7 =3x+15\\y = 3x +15-7\\y = 3x +8$
