Answer:

Except Great Britain

Step-by-step explanation:

Daguerre was an physicist, artist and business partnere of inventor Joseph Nicephore Niepce. Niepce developed heliography method, it was the precursor of the photographic process. After Niepce died, Daguerre developed a new process in 1833, and invented Dagurreotype in 1837.

The images produced by Dagurreotype were positive images that were recorded on copper plates coated with silver iodide.

The images produced in camera were developed by exposing them to mercury vapor and then fixing it by strong salt solution.

Daguerre sold his process to the French Academy of Sciences for an annual pension. The process was announced on 7th January 1839 and on 19th August all the information about the process was shared with the world for free but not to Great Britain. In Great Britain Daguerre's agent filed a patent.
