- Political effect : This world war ended the rule of the monarch from different countries of the world and started rise of Republic. This created favourable atmosphere for the growth of different political system or philosophy such as Socialist , Communist , Fascist , Nazi etc. The map of the Europe was restructured. New nations were established on the ruins of old ones. The victor countries emerged as string powers. Great Britain proved to be the leading maritime and colonial power of the earth. France came to be regarded as a great military power in Europe. Japan enhanced its power and prestige in the Far East , at the cost of China and Russia. The USA emerged from the Great War as a great world power. Treaty of Versailles curtailed the territory and military power of Germany which humiliated her and grew up on the colt of revenge under the leadership of Adolf Hitler who was responsible for World War I
- Economic Effects : This war spent the huge amount of money. About 3370 Billion US dollars was spent in the war which created heavy economic crisis in the world. Mass unemployment and Great Depression was seen due to the war. Germany had to pay 66 crore pound to the Allied reparations Commission.Huhe number of Infrastructures were destroyed.
- Social Effects : It caused a terrible loss of human life. The death of young soldiers caused scarcity of manpower in reconstruction works. About mine million were killed and twenty nine million men were wounded or missing. Thirteen million died on account of civilian massacres , disease and famine. Many people became refugee and got their nationality changed. This war increased the female mobility on public spheres and they got voting right.
- Establishment of the League of Nations : To promote international cooperation , peace and security , the American president Woodrow Wilson decided to create the League of Nations at the Paris Peace Conference. This organisation was formally formed in 1920 AD. The organization was formed with 42 members consisting of the organs : The Assembly , The Council , The Secretiat , The Mandates Commission , The permanat Court of international Justice and the Epidemics Commission. But it lacked to control it's power when it's members disobeyed the krganizay. German vowed to take revenge on the Allies and declared the World War II in 1939.
