Explanation:

Hey there!!

Just do it in a simple way.

Use the properties of parallel lines, and find the value of x to find angke 1.

angle 1= angle 2 { alternate angles on parallel lines are equal }

2x + 20°= 3x + 10°

or, 3x-2x = 20°-10°

x= 10°.

now,

angle 1= 2x+ 20°

=2×10°+20°

Therefore, the measure os angle 1 is 40°.

Hope it helps...

Answer: 40

Explanation:

angle 1 and 2 are alternative interior angle which means they are equal

-------------------------------

angle 1= angle 2

2x+20=3x+10

x=10

------------------------------

angle 1=2x+20

=2(10)+20

=20+20

=40
