Jhansi Lakshmibai was an Indian queen widely known for her role as one of the prominent figures during the Indian Rebellion in the year 1857. She was born in November 1828 and died about 30 years later in June 1858. However, her role as a rebellion leader against the British Raj was a popular story, even today.
Jhansi was raised in Brahman and reportedly trained in martial arts, which later made her to skillful in the use of swords fighting and horse riding.

When she refused, war broke out, which was termed as war of freedom.
However, during one of the battles, Lakshmi Bai advanced with her troops to east in Morar to meet face to face with British counterattack led by Rose. She disguised as a man and was reportedly fought an intense and tough battle, in which she was killed in combat against the enemy.
Jhansi Lakshmibai died at age 29, she was seen as a hero with many songs and poems composed in honor of her exploits and leadership.
