As you are taking photos, you notice that the assisting officer is smoking a cigarette and drops the cigarette butt on the ground, in the crime scene area. You also notice that he is lighting up another cigarette. What will you do?

step on the cigarette that he dropped a moment ago and tell him to get as far as possible to the crime scene so the cigarette won't be a piece of crime evidence, while he is moving from somewhere you might have to take and throw away the cigarette he has dropped moments before.
