In the play Romeo and Juliet will do anything to be together, for love. They want to be together, but can't because their parents have a feud that goes back a long time. However, neither Romeo or Juliet care, they just want to be happy together, so they die together as a way of showing their love for one another. If they could not be in love while alive and in peace, then they'd do it in death.
