Answer:

A square root of a number is a value that, when multiplied by itself, gives the number.

Examples:

4 multiplied by itself is 16. Therefore, the square root of 16 is 4.

(4 x 4 = 16)

The same goes for every number.

(3 x 3 = 9) square root of 9 is 3

(5 x 5 = 25) square root of 25 is 5
