Juan is going to visit Roberto in Oregon. They are planning to take a bike trip together. Before Juan comes, Roberto sends him the following information about bicycle regulations in Oregon. What happens the first time someone gets caught riding without a helmet? A warning will be issued. A fine is issued but can be avoided with proof of a helmet purchase. A $25 fine is issued and must be paid within 16 days. A fine is issued but can be avoided by writing a letter of explanation to either ANSI or Snell.

Answer: So letter reads as follows:

May 5th 2003

Dear Juan,

I'm very happy that your coming but before you do, I'll like to inform you about the bicycle helmet and the laws of Oregon.

A cyclist under the age of 16 must wear a helmet in order to ride a bicycle. The helmet must be approved by ANSI or SNELL.

Look, whoever does not wear a helmet like it is required will be punished with a fine of a maximum of $25. However fine offense can be forgiven if the person shows that they have acquired their helmet.

I hope that before you come visit me you purchase a helmet to be able to go cycling. And if not, bring extra money to buy you one.

We'll see each other soon ,

Your friend Roberto

Step-by-step explanation:

So translating English to Spanish (or even vice versa) is difficult because words get mixed in, the get dropped, or switch around but it's really close to the letter as possible. Hope this helps.
