T2 phage is a virus, it infect and kill Escherichia Coli (E.Coli) which is a bacteria, t2 phage has a DNA that is double stranded while Radioactive phosphorus is an Isotope of phosphorus having same atomic number but different mass number.

it double stranded and it is made up of a nitrogenous base, phosphate group and a 5 carbon sugar. When t2 phage grows with radioactive phosphorus in, it becomes infused into the cell and replicated in the virus cell during DNA replication process making it have more copies in the cell this makes the DNA of the t2 phage radioactive in nature.
