Answer: It became law on May 30th 1854.

Explanation: 'The Kansas-Nebraska Act repealed the Missouri Compromise which created two territories which also alowwed for popular sovergnity . It also produced a violent uprising known as the " Bleeding Kansas" as proslavery and antislavery activist flooded into the territory to sway the vote.
