Explanation:

given,

perimeter (p)=30

let the length be x and breadth be x÷2 (as the length is twice of its breadth)

now, perimeter (p)=30

or, 2(l+b)=30

or, 2(x+x/2)=30

or, 6x/2=30

or, 3x=30

therefore the value of x is 10.

the dimensions are,

so, length (l)=10 breadth (b) =10/2=5...ans

hope it will help uh.

Answer:

Explanation:

The width of the rectangle = x

Therefore the length of the rectangle = 2x, as it is twice its width

We know that the perimeter of a rectangle = 2 × (length + width)

So since the perimeter equals to 30, then we can form the equation:

2×(2x+x) = 30

2×(3x) = 30

6x = 30

x = 5

width of the rectangle = x = 5

length of the rectangle = 2x = 2×5 = 10

If there is an unit which is in the question, remember to add it to the end of the answer. As you have not written any units in the posted question, I will leave it as it is.

Hope this helps :)
