Solution:

3x - 5 = -2x²

2x² + 3x - 5 = 0

By splitting the middle term,

2x² - 2x + 5x - 5 = 0

2x (x - 1) + 5 (x - 1) = 0

(2x + 5)(x - 1) = 0

So, 2x + 5 = 0

x = -5/2

(OR)

x - 1 = 0

x = 1

The roots of 2x² + 3x - 5 = 0 are: A. x = 1 & B. x = -5/2
