The length of a rectangle is 3 m greater than the width. The perimeter is 38 m. What
are the dimensions of the rectangle?​

Answer:

x = 8

Explanation:

Let us take the breadth as 'x'

breadth = x

length = 3 + x

perimeter = 38m

perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

= 2( x + x + 3 ) = 38

4x + 6 = 38

4x = 38-6

x = 32/4

x = 8

breadth = 8

length = 11
