Can someone tell me a little about csx transportation?

And I was thinking about going to college for a degree to be a train conductor, is there a degree for it?

Answer:

It is a Class I freight railroad operating in the eastern United States and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. The railroad operates approximately 21,000 route miles of track. The company operates as the leading subsidiary of CSX Corporation, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. You will need a conductors and engineers degree/A National Diploma or GED Certificate is a prerequisite as well as having a driver’s license.

you would definitely need an engineering associate or bachelors degree. or if college isn’t for you, you could take up an engineering course in a trade school (debt free). For both you must complete high school or your GED if you drop out of hs. & last but not least, your drivers license ! Good luck future train conductor
