Answer:

640\ \:\pi\: {units}^(2)

Solution,

Radius(r)=10

height(h)=22

Now,

surface \: area \: of \: cylinder \\ = 2\pi \: rh + 2\pi {r}^(2) \\ = 2\pi \: r(h + r) \\ = 2 * \pi * 10(22 + 10) \\ = 20 \: \pi * 32 \\ = 640\ \: pi \: {units}^(2)

hope this helps...

Good luck on your assignment..

Answer:

640π units squared.

Explanation:

The formula for the surface area of a cylinder is 2πrh+2πr².

Where r is the radius and h is the height.

2πrh+2πr²

Apply the formula.

= 2π(10)(22)+2π(10)²

Multiply the terms.

= 440π+200π

Add both terms.

= 640π

The answer in terms of π is 640π units squared.
