t= c+2 and 4t+6c= 10*4.55

  • 4t+6c= 10*4.55 ⇒ 4(c+2)+6c= 45.5 ⇒ 10c+8= 45.5 ⇒ 10c= 37.5 ⇒ c= $3.75

so

  • t= c+2= 3.75+2= $5.75
