You now have (x + 1) twice, so you can just square it like this:


(x+1)^2>0

We can make that term equal to 0 to get x = -1, but remember that this isnt an equation. This is an inequality, so x > -1

In order to graph this, you should shade everything to the right of -1 because we have the greater than sign. Make the circle open because we are not including -1. It is everything greater than -1
