Answer:

The height, of 0.87 cm, is finding dividing the volume by the multiplication of the length and the width.

Explanation:

A cereal box is a rectangular prism.

A rectangular prism has 3 dimensions, length(l), width(w) and height(h).

It's volume is:

V = l*w*h

In this question:

l = 43, w = 12, V = 450

So

V = l*w*h

450 = 43*12*h

h = (450)/(43*12)

h = 0.87

The height, of 0.87 cm, is finding dividing the volume by the multiplication of the length and the width.
