Answer:

So we can first use the distance formula which is for 2 dimensional but seen as we're in 1 dimensions we dont have to use it. So we can just get the distance between them using a formula I made -

|a-d| = distance

So if we use that formula we can get that -7-(-2) = -7+2 = -5. Then take the absolute value which is 5.

Therefore the answer is

5 is answer
