(Second Question in photo)

BTW the question is:
Using the diagram at the right, which of the following represents the ratio of
the circle's circumference to the square's perimeter?

Reminder (because this isn't geometry yet): C = 21 * (radius)

(a) r/pi
(b) 4/r
(c) 4/pi
(d) pi/4
(e) r/4

Answer:

Option (D).
(\pi )/(4)

Explanation:

Perimeter of a square is given by the expression,

P = 4(Side)

Since length of a side of the given square = 2r

P = 4(2r)

= 8r

Circumference of a circle is represented by,

C = 2πr

Ratio of the Circle' circumference and perimeter of the square =
(C)/(P)

(C)/(P)=(2\pi r)/(8r)

=
(\pi )/(4)

Therefore, Option (D) represents the ratio of circumference of the circle and perimeter of the square.
