The the area of the new garden will be 4 times the previous area

How will the area of the new garden compare to the area of the original garden?

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

Length = 23 ft

Width = 10 ft

So, we have the area to be

Area = 23 * 10

Area = 230

When doubled, we have

Length = 23 * 2 ft

Width = 10 * 2ft

So, we have the new area to be

Area = 23 * 10 * 2 * 2

Area = 902

This means that the new area will be 4 times the previous area
