Given 2 angles in ratio 3 : 4 = 3x : 4x ( x is a multiplier )

Sum the 4 angles and equate to 360

140 + 80 + 3x + 4x = 360, that is

220 + 7x = 360 ( subtract 220 from both sides )

7x = 140 ( divide both sides by 7 )

x = 20

Thus

3x = 3 × 20 = 60° and 4x = 4 × 20 = 80°
