Which point of view does the narrator use in the passage?

Heather doesn't wait for you after practice the next day. And when you call her in the
evening, her phone rings and rings until you realize she's either not home or she turned it
off.
Around nine-thirty she finally answers. Mom's heading off to bed; she gives you the evil
eye to remind you to keep it down and not stay up too late.

2nd person bc the author uses “he” “she” “theirs” if it was first person it would be “I” “me” and “my” bc you’re talking about yourself but in this passage someone else is talking about the character, therefore it is from the 2nd person POV

Answer: 2nd person

Step-by-step explanation:

1st person pov is when the narrator dictates events from their perspective using words such as “i” or “we” - they are telling the story from their perspective

2nd person pov is when the narrator addresses the reader as the pronoun “you” - usually found in manuals/ directions: “then you ..”

3rd person pov is when the narrator is not telling the story from a personal perspective - uses pronouns such as “he,” “she,” “it,” etc

hope this helps :)
