A=238.87 cm

Explanation:

First find the area for the rectangle

11*23= 253 cm

then find the area for the little circles

D=3cm so r=1.5cm

Now plug in values into formula

A=π(1.5)^2

A=π(2.25)

A=3.14(2.25)=7.065cm

A=7.065cm since there are two circles

7.065*2=14.13

Now subtract the area of the circles from the rectangle

253-14.13=238.87
