PLEASE HELP - One of the solutions to the x to the second power -14x + 45 =0 is x=5. What is the other solution?

look for two numbers that their :

sum= - 14 (-5 & -9)

products = 45 (-5 & -9)

so,

(x-5)(x-9)=0

thus,

x=5, x=9 (ANS)
