Which is the slope of the line that passes through the points (3, 17) and
(7.25)?

Assuming you meant to put (7,25), then the answer m = 2.
m is the slope of the line.

The slope is equal to the change in Y divided by the change in X, or rise over run.
So in each parentheses there’s an X part ( the first number before comma, in this case, that would be either 3 or 7) and a Y part ( the number after the comma, in this case, 17 or 25).

Here’s how to solve it:

m = (y2- y1)/(x2-x1)

m = 25 -(17)/7-(3)

m = 8/4

which you can simplify to

m = 2
