Area of the sticker = 2(length + width) × height

= 2(5 + 4.5)(1)

= 19 square inches

75% of the lateral surface area of the box = 19 square inches


(75)/(100)(L.S.A.) = 19

L.S.A. of the box =
(19)/(0.75)

= 25.33 square inches

Since lateral surface area of the rectangular box = 2(l + b)h

= 2(x + 5)(1)

Therefore, 2(x + 5) = 25.33
