(2^(3) (-1)^(21) )/(2^(6) ) =(-1)/(2^(3) ) =(-1)/(8)

but she did it in the wrong way, she she left the terms
2^(3) and
-1^(21) in the denominator while in step 3 they were also in the denominator hence in step 4 hat they should be in the numerator when raising to 1
