Answer:

(1, 3)

Explanation:

Origin is the point (0,0) on the graph.

Distance between 2 points=

\sqrt{ {(x1 - x2)}^(2) + (y1 - y2)^(2) }

Hence using the formula above,

\sqrt{ {(x1 - 0)}^(2) + (y1 - 0)^(2) } = √(10) \\ (x1) ^(2) + {(y1)}^(2) = 10

1) subst. x₂=0, y₂=0 and distance = √10

2) simplify expression and square both sides

So the answer could be any point in which the sum of the square of the x coordinate and the square of the y coordinate equals to 10.

When x₁= 1,

1² + (y₁)²= 10

1+ (y₁)² = 10

(y₁)²= 10 -1

(y₁)²= 9

y₁= ± √9

y₁= 3 or y₁= -3

Thus, the other point could be (1 ,3).
