Explanation:

First find the zeros

(x – 3)(x - 2) =0

x-3 =0 x-2=0

x=3 x=2

The zeros are at 3 and 2

Find the middle of the zeros

(5)/2 = 2.5

The x coordinate of the vertex is at 2.5

To find the y coordinate , substitute x into the equation

f(2.5) = (2.5-3) *2.5-2)

= -.5 (.5)

= -.25
