The answer to your question is the first option because you do 14/sin30 equals to x/sin90
Then you do 14/sin30 multiplied by sin90, which gives you and answer of 28

Hint: Use the trigonometry properties of SOHCAHTOA. E.g Sin(30) = 14/x and then solve algebraically from there.
