The answer (A) starts with 7, and if you look at the box plot you can see the first quadrant beginning at 7.. you can already eliminate option B since it begins at 9. Since the dots land on 10 and 12 they will be more frequent than the rest. Option C makes 10 & 13 popular, which is wrong and option D makes 11 & 12 popular, which only leaves A to be the correct answer.
