Answer:

y= (3)/(2)x+(9)/(2)

Explanation:

First find the slope:
(y_(2) - y_(1) )/(x_(2) - x_(1) ) = (-3 - (3))/(-5-(-1)) = (-6)/(-4) = (3)/(2)

Next use the point-slope fomula and one of the points to find the line:

y-y_(1) =m(x-x_(1) ) and the ordered pair (-1,3)

y-3=(3)/(2)(x-(-1))\\ y-3 = (3)/(2)(x+1)\\y-3=(3)/(2)x + (3)/(2)\\y=(3)/(2)x +(3)/(2)+3\\y = (3)/(2)x + (9)/(2)
