Explanation:

The formula for the area of a circle is :
\pi *radius^2

The radius is the length from one side of the circle to the centre.

To work this out you would simply multiply pi by the radius of 7.5. squared. This gives you 176.74.

1) Multiply pi by 7.5 squared.


\pi *7.5^2=176.74cm^2

In this question pi is to be 3.142
