TAKE ANY UNMARKED BOWL OR GLASS AND FILL IT EXACTLY 3/5 FULL WITH WATER.

It has to be EXACTLY 3/5 full, so you can't guess or "eyeball" it. How are you going to do this?

Provide a detailed answer explaining how you managed to figure out exactly how much was 3/5 of your bowl/glass. Include one EQUIVALENT FRACTION in your answer.

Answer:

I would fill it up will 100 cm³ three times to get a 3/5 full glass.

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume I get a glass of volume 500 cm³, 3/5 of it would be 3/5 × 500 cm³ = 300 cm³. So, the equivalent fraction would be
(3)/(5) = (3 X 100)/(5 X 100) = (300)/(500) .So i would fill it up will 100 cm³ three times to get a 3/5 full glass.
