Answer: X= 2

Explanation:

Based off of the
√(3) on the longer leg of the triangle we can assume this is a 30, 60, 90 right triangle. In a 30, 60, 90 triangle, the hypotenuse is 2X the shorter leg. So to find x we can set up this equation.


(hypotenuse) = (short leg) x2\\(6x-8) = (2x)\\-6x -6x\\-8=-4x\\2=x
