solution:

D = m/V


m = 38.6g


= 0.0386kg


v = 2 {cm}^(3)


= 0.000002 {m}^(3)

then substitute the values.


d = (0.0386)/(0.000002)


d = 19300kg | {m}^(3)

therefore, the density of the sample gold is 19300kg/m3
