Because the icicle is the same shape as a cone, the volume of the icicle will be equal to that of the cone

Volume of a cone is given as
v =(\pi r^(2)h)/(3)

hence the volume of the cone is
v =(\pi *4.5^(2)* 120)/(3)= 2544.69 mm^(3)

if the icicle drips at 75 millimeters cubed per minute, to get the time it will take to completely melt, we will have ti divide the volume by the rate of melting.

This will be given as
v=(2544.69)/(75)=33.93 minutes
