Good morning ☕️

Answer:

80 blue

75 green

Explanation:

2/5 blue

3/8 green

45 red balls

2/5 + 3/8 = 16/40 + 15/40 = 31/40

then

the number of blue + green balls represent 31/40 of the total number of balls

therefore the number of red balls represent 9/40 .

x blue balls —————-> 16/40

45 red balls —————> 9/40

then

x = (45×16)÷9 = 80

y green balls ————> 15/40

45 red balls —————> 9/40

then

y = (45×15)÷9 = 75

Then total number of balls = 75+80+45 = 200
