What did it mean to be a slave (slavery in America)

Answer:

To be a slave implied you had no power over your own life and you were constrained by an ace and you generally needed to do what your lord said or, more than likely there would be horrendous disciplines, and you didn't get paid for all the work you did.

Subjection was unfeeling, horrendous and unreasonable that is the reason we no longer have it today.

To be a slave meant you had no control over your own life and you were controlled by a master and you always had to do what your master said or else there would be terrible punishments, and you did not get paid for all the work you did.

Slavery was cruel, awful and unfair that is why we no longer have it today.
