Answer:

Cytoplasm is often referred as the fluid(s) that will enter and fill the cell. It includes cytosol, proteins, ions, filaments, and large molecules (macromolecular structures) with organelles that have been suspended into the cytosol. The function for the cell is to hold and provide a medium for the cellular contents!
