Answer:

1. Men leave behind women behind on the farm to manage it economically and as women cannot own land in rural parts of countries in Africa. This caused rural parts ofm for example, South Africa and Zimbabwe to have a feminized population. They also have heavy responsibilities and little rights so specifically men leave for bigger opportunities.

2. Women produce most of the region’s food by hand, gather water and fire wood, and are responsible for soley her caring for children, as the woman’s spouse leaves to create other families.
