Answer:

D. 2x^2+ 6x +4= 0

Explanation:

The quadratic equation 2x²+6x+4 = 0 solutions will have opposite integers as shown.

On factorising:

2x²+6x+4 = 0

(2x²+2x)+(4x+4) = 0

Bringing out the common factor

2x(x+1)+4(x+1) = 0

(2x+4)+(x+1) = 0

2x+4 = 0 and x+1 = 0

2x = -4 and x = -1

x = -1/2 and -1

As we can see, the solution to the quadratic equation gave us two different integers. Note that the remaining functions will give the same values as the solutions.
