Answer:

3x -4y-18=0

Explanation:

To find :-

  • The Equation of the line.

Solution :-

We can use the slope intercept form of the line . From the graph ,

  • y intercept = -4.5
  • Slope = ?

→ m = x2 - x1/ y2 - y1

→ m = 3/4

Use slope intercept form ,

→ y = mx + c

→ y = 3/4x - 4.5

→ y = 3x - 4.5*4 / 4

→ y = 3x -18/4

→ 4y = 3x - 18

→ 3x - 4y -18 = 0

Answer:

y = .75x - 4.5

Explanation:

y = mx + b

m = slope ; b = y-int

slope = rise/ run = 3/4 = .75

y = .75x + b

Because it is hard to determine the exact y-intercept, we plug in a point (2,-3):

-3 = .75(2) + b

-3 = 1.5 + b

-4.5 = b -->

y = .75x - 4.5
